How does RelayFX actually work?

You connect your Telegram account and choose the signal channels to watch, then connect your MetaTrader 5 account. RelayFX listens for signals, parses the trade details (symbol, direction, entry, stop loss, take profits), applies your risk rules, executes the trade on MT5, and manages it until it closes.

What is RelayFX?

RelayFX is an automation and execution platform that connects supported Telegram trading signal channels to your MetaTrader 5 account. It is not a broker, does not hold client funds, and does not guarantee profits.

Do I need to stay online or in front of the computer?

RelayFX's local engine keeps running and monitoring your channels and open positions as long as your machine and the app are up. It's designed to keep working through the night and while you're away — but the app needs to be running to trade.

Which platforms and brokers are supported?

RelayFX works with a Telegram account and a MetaTrader 5 account. It has built-in support for Exness, XM, Vantage, IC Markets, Pepperstone, OANDA, Zuperior and Forex.com, plus an "other" option that works with any MT5 broker.

How does the Telegram connection work?

You connect using your own Telegram session. RelayFX reads the signal channel you choose and can post trade updates to a channel you specify. Your Telegram session data is stored on your machine only.

What information does RelayFX extract from signals?

From supported signal formats, RelayFX extracts the symbol, direction, entry price, stop loss and take-profit targets, plus any explicit lot size or risk percentage and the trade identifier if provided. The result is a structured, executable order.

Can I configure risk and lot sizing?

Yes. You control risk per trade, default lot sizing, and how each trade behaves. Signal-specific risk values are used when a signal provides them; otherwise your defaults apply.

What happens after TP1 is reached?

If configured, RelayFX moves your stop loss to breakeven once the first take-profit target is hit. This locks in the outcome of the trade so far while leaving remaining targets open. TP1-to-breakeven is a configurable rule, not a guarantee.

Is RelayFX a broker? Does it hold my money?

No. RelayFX is an execution and automation platform, not a broker. Your funds stay in your own MetaTrader 5 account, and RelayFX never takes custody of client money.

Is trading with RelayFX risk-free?

No. Trading leveraged financial products such as forex carries substantial risk of loss, and automation does not remove that risk. Automated execution removes manual delay and improves consistency, but it cannot guarantee profits or prevent losses.
